GP PATIENT SURVEY
Some patients registered at this GP practice will soon be invited to take part in a national survey about their experiences of local NHS services. It covers issues that concern patients, such as access to care and satisfaction with treatment. If you receive a questionnaire, please help NHS England by filling it in as soon as possible. It is really important that we hear your views, even if you have received a questionnaire like this before. Your response will help us to improve GP practices and other local NHS services so they better meet your needs. Visit www.gp-patient.co.uk to find out more.
The NHS APP is now available at this surgery. Please see the Further Information column for more details

Ordering Your Medicines Online
In Milton Keynes, pharmacies or other companies, can no longer order medicines for you. This will help you to take control of your medicines, reduce the amount of medicines that are wasted and save the NHS money.
Instead, we recommend patients use SystmOne Online or the NHS App to order medicines. They help you to stay in control and save you time visiting the practice.
If you wish to use another online company or app to order your medicines, we will accept requests if the service links into your SystmOne Online record. Only accepting requests that link into SystmOne Online will help prevent mistakes when ordering and will keep prescription orders simple for us to process.
Please contact reception, with a photo ID, to register for online access if you haven't already done so.
These may be requested by post, online, in person or by phone (from 11:00-12:00 and then 16:00 - 17:00 only using telephone number 679111 option 2).
Telephone ordering is for elderly (over 75 years), disabled and housebound patients only.
Please allow at least 48 hours for processing the prescription. Any repeat prescriptions received after 3pm will not be ready until 48 hours after the following day.
From the beginning of September 2019 the guidelines for ordering repeat prescription has changed, with no more ordering via pharmacies (3rd parties). All prescriptions are now to be ordered by the patient directly. Prescriptions can still be sent to a pharmacy of your choice should you wish. Please see full guidelines in the link below.
New prescription ordering guidelines
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 15 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
